This Privacy Policy explains how Engage. LLC (“Engage,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Being mobile application and its SMS check-in program (the “Service”).
When you create an account and opt in to SMS check-ins, we collect your name, your mobile phone number, and the content of messages you send to or receive from us (for example, replies to a wellbeing check-in). We also collect basic technical information needed to operate the Service.
We use your information solely to deliver the Service: to send the recurring wellbeing check-in text messages you have requested, to respond to your replies, to provide customer support, and to maintain the security and reliability of the Service.
If you opt in to SMS check-ins, you consent to receive recurring text messages from Being at the mobile number you provide. Message frequency varies (typically one message per day). Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for help.
Your mobile information will never be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories described in this policy exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service (for example, our SMS delivery provider), and only as needed to provide the Service or as required by law.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and we apply reasonable safeguards to protect it. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
You can opt out of SMS check-ins at any time by replying STOP or by turning off check-ins in the app. You can request access to or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.
